I'll be ok you guys. I'll start looking soon. I'm just so comfy here, cause i've done it for awhile. Feels natural. Plus, if I want to get my Doctorate, they'll pay for it.
You know that I am OG #teamwacky, but dammit read the tea leaves.  You are not going to last long enough to get a Doctorate at that shithole.  What if the axe falls while you are in the middle of the program? Then where will you be, HUH? WHERE WILL YOU BE!!!

I'm happy, doing well, and will be running a sporting league on the side. Yes, I would say it has. What do you do, Carnes? Besides being a pain in the ass?

Dr's diagnosis: Pain in the Ass.

Cure?  Less Kim, apparently.

I bet it won't hurt his career... knowledge is power.

I think Fanning would have a much better career with a doctorate than he will ever have calling people and asking if they want to go into debt to attend some shitty school. Maybe he could teach journalism at a university. :dunno:

I would love to teach. Maybe retire in Manhattan and teach there. My favorite professor was Smethers of the Jounalism school. I just figure if they can pay for my doctorate, why not? It couldn't hurt. I'm sure it's a lot of work tho.

Haven't figured that out yet. It would be dumb to go for business, right?

Is your employer going to pay for your Ph.D. at the school of your choice, or do you have to get it from them?

Haven't figured that out yet. It would be dumb to do for business, right?

Business professors at universities cash checks (large ones) compared to the average faculty members.  It could be a six figure pay check.  If you are interested in the business forecasting model side of things, wow, you would be highly marketable to many different employers.  The PhD goes a long way.

Not sure. It wouldn't be here. It would be Argosy or something in the area.

@CNS lol. I knew that was coming. They will pay for other locations. I'm just shooting the crap here. I don't know if I want another 2 and a half years of school. It would be nice to be the only "Dr." in the Fanning family tho. It would be more of a "Ha. I told you fuckers!" from being the youngest child. My bro was the talk of the town being a D1 athlete.

What kind of GPA did you get as an undergrad? Have you taken the GRE?
