Wait!

How long do you have to work there after completing the Dr in order for it to be free?

I mean, unless you want to run that place, keep that in mind.

My old gig wanted me for 5yrs after completing an MBA.  Nope!

What kind of GPA did you get as an undergrad? Have you taken the GRE?
3.5 in undergrad and a 3.7 in my MBA. No to the GRE.

I have been working with several Industrial/Organizational psychologists on designing new surveys for their HR people.  They threw an under-the-table job offer my way and were talking salaries for people that know how to design HR surveys and analyze data...and I was blown away with the numbers they were throwing out.  It wasn't for me, but I can tell you that just having the PhD will open many doors to possibilities you didn't know existed.  Plus, you are a smart cat so it may result in a few more rando BJs from some KU skank rats...which is always a plus.

There's no contract like that. There wasn't at UOP either. A girl who works here just became an RN through us and she's about to leave.

You should probably take the GRE. You need to get your Ph.D. from a real honest-to-god university if you want the kind of opportunities that Blumpkin is talking about.

Also, most business schools do not require the GRE for admission.  You may not even have to take that BS test.

I mean if the MBA paid off with a recruiting position at brown mackie college maybe a PhD will pay off with an entry level position at Cerner (probably not though)

i remember when lloyd letcher was working on his econ phd at ksu cats calvin.  stud expressway, speed limit: infinity.

dr wacky, you need to put your Journey's Greatest Hits tape into your walkman and just go for it.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Holy crap.  A Lloyd Letcher mention!  I love Lloyd.  Walking textbook but a good soul.  I had a long long conversation with him after class one day. It was touching talking about the 60s and 70s, and race, war, and politics.
