FWIW a buddy at my company (engineer) left and went to Deloitte and is making an absolute crap pot of money.  He's into the SAP stuff.
Crap pot = ??
Canadian friend is curious.
  Over 200.
that is a crap pot. what type of engineer was he? industrial?
I believe he has a software engineering degree and a mechanical engineering degree, maybe a master's in one of them.  Took a job internally doing SAP stuff and realized he could make much more as a consultant.  We've had a couple guys do that actually.

Anyone hearing any Sprint gossip?

People still work there?

In the late 90's/Early 2000's it seemed like everyone's dad worked there...not so much anymore.

:frown: A bunch at my company today. The shortest tenured in a group of five didn't have much of a chance.

Anyone hiring mechanical engineers?
Did you bounce back?

Not yet. :frown: Was really lazy about looking for a job while I still had severance pay and then the holidays. Actually trying to find something now.

I don't have too much CFD experience especially in terms of computer modeling. Wichita wouldn't be my first choice (is it anyone's?) but I'd be open to it.

TTHoTUC was actually decent at fluids, just a dumbass about remembering to turn in the take home part of the exam.
