I am always fully on the "blame sales" train. A good product does NOT sell itself.

Eurocat ended up being eurocat from a similar situation I think.  Hopefully that happens to 8man too.
Yep. Got laid off from Hawker Beechcraft after 3 weeks on the job. Found current job shortly after.

we did about $12-13mil in volume last year and this.   About $10mil of that is me this year, about 7-8mil last.   So, I feel okay.

FWIW a buddy at my company (engineer) left and went to Deloitte and is making an absolute crap pot of money.  He's into the SAP stuff.

Building contractor, I estimate and manage commercial construction.   There is one other estimator/PM on the building side and one doing industrial work.   I guess looking back at it, the industrial guy's had an okay year, so this year is probably $13-14 mil, of which I am 10.     I have a field crew of 8 doing building work, the industrial side ranges from a half dozen to 20+ in good years.   We had 4 to 6 industrial guys in China last year and early this year building a tire plant.

I always think of "crap ton" as being 300-400. So "crap pot" being 200-300 would seem about right. I will let my canadian friend know.

Prolly, most IEs (from K-State at least) go into consulting gigs and make bank

Are you on LinkedIn? I get job offers on there monthly, and don't even go looking for them

We met by big game hunter and the rest is history.

We've covered this SD: Omaha was crappy job, but good city, while Topeka is good job, but crappy city, and don't even start with the "you should have found a different job in Omaha" schtick
