Seriously guys, Gonzaga wouldn't even buy us dinner first. And they'd go in dry (again). You guys are crazy.

out of the projected 1s who do you want.

Louisville by a country mile. Then Indiana. Then .................................Zaga.

Louisville is a really complete team

It's about matchups. And we match up horribly with Gonzaga. Confirmed.

We wouldn't beat any of the #1s, so this is all academic, but give me a shot against Louisville over a repeat ass-raping by Zaga.

I think Angel might be able to hang with Silva. Don't really wanna find out though...

Ideally I'd wanna move up to a 3 and see Miami as the 2. That probably won't happen, so I guess I'd wanna see Gonzaga as the 1 in our bracket.

We're a completely different team and they haven't been tested in conference play like they would be against us. Any idea where that hypothetical game would be?

You're prob right. I haven't watched much basketball outside of ksu this year so I don't really know. I watched lville tonight though and they looked amazing in the 2nd.

4. Yes. Any other questions I can answer for you so you don't have to read the last 8 posts in this thread to find the answers?

OK guys,  Its after 3 o clock.  I am tired but i am gonna try to give us some hope.   Thank you Lville for coming back against the Cuse

As of right now,  I am still hopeful we have that last 3 seed spot.

I think Mich St and Kstate are the last two 3 seeds.   I think Syracuse and Michigan are the top two 4 seeds

________________________________________________________________________________________

Its gonna be close whether we get the 3 or the 4.
New Mexico ---- won MWC,  will be at least a 3 seed
Florida -----  I think they are a 3 seed win or lose tommorow.   Have a shot at the last 2 seed
Ohio St ----  I think they are a 3 seed win or lose tommorrow.  Have a shot at the last 2 seed

Lville, Gonz, Indiana and KU are my likely #1 seeds
Duke, Miami, and GTown are 3 of the 4  #2 seeds

Just to play Devil's advocate, K-State and Syracuse both lost to a 1 seed today. Why do you think we'll jump them for a 3 seed because of this?

Forget Lundardi.

I had Cuse as a 4 seed before today....... and my hope for KState >>> Cuse

1) a 14-4 co Big 12 champ Ksu team and a 11-7 5th place BEast Cuse team both lost in conf finals
2) That our 9-3 last 12 compared to their 6-6 last 12..... will help when realizing they have a much better SOS
3)  Both teams 6 top 50 wins FWIW

It's all about Ohio State. If  they win, they're a 3. If they lose, we're a 3.

Mark it down

We're safe as a 4; maybe sneak into a 3. I remember we were all pretty surprised by the 2 seed in '10, but that team had a much tougher SOS and more quality wins (11-6 vs Top 50 in 10, 6-7 this year).

there is little chance we're a 3.  Mich and tOSU won't fall to a 4, however if one (or both) did, Marquette or Syracuse are  more deserving (tougher league, better rpi, sos).  If Whisky wins, they'll have to do something with them and that might mean moving them up to the 4 line.  Hopefully its zona that falls.

So when does Lunardi finish his conference call with the committee and post his latest projections?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Looking at New Mexico's resume, how the eff are they ranked 2nd in the RPI? Their best RPI win is against Colorado State. Their top 8 RPI wins are all against MWC teams. Their losses include a home loss to South Dakota State and a road loss to Air Force. I just don't see it.

Also, wasn't it a big surprise that we were a 5 seed in 2011? IIRC, everyone thought we would be a 6 seed.

1993 was the craziest, we were on the bubble and ended up as a 6.

Then lost

So here is what i think =

--- 1 seeds ---- 2 seeds ---- 3 seeds ---- 4 seeds ---
1.  Lville         5. Duke        9. N Mex     13. Cuse
2.  Gonz         6. Gtown      10. Fla        14. Mich
3.  Ind           7. Miami       11. Mich St   15. Wisc
4.  KU            8. Ohio St     12. KState    16. Marq

Conf record and place =  Kstate 14-4 (T-1) Cuse 11-7 (5th) Mich 12-6 (5th). Ksu/Cuse made conf finals. Mich lost in qtrs.
SOS =  KState 56,  Cuse 5, Mich 68
Top 50 record = KState 6-7,  Cuse 6-8, Mich 8-6
Last 12 games = KState 9-3, Cuse 6-6, Mich 6-6
Road/Nuetral gms = KState 11-6, Cuse 9-7, Mich 9-6

Last 2 seed was tough.   I gave it to Ohio St.   They went 13-5, tied for 2nd and at least made the finals in the toughest conf.
Duke got 2nd in ACC and lost in ACC quarters.   So had to go with KU as the final 1 seed

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

I tried to just seed the top 4 seeds in regions and here is what i came up with.

--- WEST ---- SOUTH ---- MWest ---- EAST ----
1. Gonz        1. KU          1. Ind        1. Lvile
2. Ohio St    2. Duke       2. Gtown    2. Miami
3. KState     3. N Mex      3. Flor       3. Mich St
4. Marq        4. Mich        4. Cuse     4. Wisc

I will put out my top 12 seeds out later today.   After these games at noon, might have a better idea who is on the 6 seed line (or 5 perhaps) and see who potential opponents for us could be

Posse, you're not really thinking we're a 3 seed, right?

We're a pretty clear 4.
