Not sure if Luke, but 6 seed in KC with Butler revenge possible:

Its never always too early to root against the teams that could be about the same seed as Kstate.

Other than WSU and Mizzou why should I care about anyone else's seed?

If the Cats get a 7 seed, i dont like our chances at all at playing at Sprint.   Even if Mizzou and Wsu finished as 8/9 seeds lets say.

They usually take care of 1 and 2 seeds very well....... so a) i think there are other pods that the #2 seeds would go to over KC and b) if a 2 seed did come to KC, they usually dont put the 2 seed at a disadvantage with the 7 seed playing so close to home

So by rooting against other teams that could be 5-6-7 seeds...... our chances increase of getting a 5/6 seed.

The only thing I care about is avoiding a matchup with Wisconsin until at least the Sweet 16

Too much thought IMO, also KSU played in Omaha as an 11 seed. There are one or two teams like that every year. If we win we'll get a good seed and pod consideration. Worrying about others should be for bubble teams during Championship Week.

I hear you. Omaha was also the best pod location for Wiscy (3 seed) that year.

I won't elaborate on it anymore, but I stand by my thoughts--- If we get on that 5 line or 6 line, our chances are much greater than as a 7 seed.

I agree with this I just don't know what teams that we don't play have to do with it. In theory we could still be a number one seed, the pool of teams we should cheer against is massive.

No doubt in my mind we'd be the first #1 seed to lose first round

Always keeping in mind how fluid these things are; but we sit as a solid 6. 2 wins this week will likely put us in the 5 line: http://bracketproject.50webs.com/matrix.htm

not quite bitchin' though.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

5 is actually a pretty good seed and I would be pretty stoked about it.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

That's a pretty severe under-seed IMO. Same line as WSU and a line below NCSU :sdeek:
