I'm so pissed that The Manhatter made me think our o-line was good.

we're going to be 2013's version of 2012 OSU, and hey, that's pretty good!

Yep!

Throw in a blow out bowl victory over some poop Big 10 team and you've got yourself nice little season right there.

Hope we don't have to use Sam Johnson as our Clint Chelf.  :ohno:

I'll say Yay, but it will be in the BWW Bowl as we roll in the game to go 9-4 on the season

Yeah, we could really use a big RB

http://www.kstatesports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/leverett_jarvis00.html

Scout team player of year and insidery stuff says he's  'Da troof'

He's listed as 203lbs. That's nowhere near a big RB.

I've stood next to him during warmups.  The kids a horse and will be great replacement for Pease.

You didn't think Ron Dayne or Adrian Peterson were gonna show up this spring, did you?

Peterson is listed at 6'1" and 217 lbs, Leverett isn't much smaller.  Also, is that weight current or what was listed at the beginning of the season?  I would assume it would change, though it could change either direction.

I would love the Alamo; it would be nice to exorsise those   demons as a positive end to a rebuilding season

The addition of Campbell to SLB would help tremendously.

The Riverwalk is nice. Kind of has a small city feeling despite being pretty large.

Q for people w/ HFBIQ: Since so many teams run the spread in the Big XII, would it at all make sense for the coaching staff to consider using the 4-2-5 as the new base defense?

I mean, there really isn't much difference with what we run and the 4-2-5. Really it is just the alignment of the secondary since we are frequently using 2 linebackers and 5 in the secondary. Randall Evans is pretty much a strong safety type in the nickel back position. IMO the classic 4-2-5 alignment with only one deep safety puts a ton of pressure on that free safety to cover a lot of ground. I think what we do now is better equipped to stop the spread.

no offense, and maybe it was just a bad day, but I thought the Riverwalk smelled like crap, like septic tank crap  :dunno:
