Ben,

Don't live a lie.  You know, I know, we all know, that the vast majority of ku fans want nothing but the worst for K-State and MU.    Tardville can all gather around in a thread and try and collectively explain how they would all cheer for K-State if they're not playing ku . . . but such a thing is applicable to about 2.7% of ku fandom . . . the rest either sit and absolutely seethe over any K-State or MU success, or have nothing but downright outwardly expressed disdain for any K-State or MU success.

I'm not denying that.  I just don't think KU fans would openly celebrate a K-State/Mizzou loss in the same fashion.  There's an inferiority complex factor with the rival fanbases of K-State and Mizzou.

The "inferiority complex" talking is just an excuse for ku fans to cry and act like sore women when they lose.   :bawl:

In reality, neither mu or KSU feels inferior to the worst football program in the conf and a lengendary choke-riffic basketball team.

Pffffffffttttttttt...... now there's some serious denial.  The '08 49-4 combined in football and basketball is still killing you guys.  The fact that you couldn't beat KU once in three tries in your best basketball season since 1988 has got to hurt as well.

LOL.  You are crying this hard because your football team is now the worst in the conference and your basketball team is now known as the biggest chokers in tourney history.  You and I both know the KSU athletic program is leaving ku's in the dust.  Your desparation is stinking up this board.

But keep going with your talking points....it gets funnier each time.

Settle down, man.  Take a few deep breaths.  Just let go of the hate... it will be okay.  Maybe you guys can try to avoid the sweep next year.

uck, your meltdown went from funny to awkward.

KU fans can only hope to someday reach the pinnacle of one Sweet Sixteen appearance in 20+ years.

Well you already got this year under your belt.  And your team looks like total garbage for next year so you're off to a great start.

Having seen a few BMW meltdowns, that is one of the last steps before he leaves and deletes his account for awhile.  I hope he doesn't, he is funniest ku fan on here (sorry 42).

Pretty sure any "excessive celebrating" by KSU fans at ku's loss in OKC would be due to having shared a town with ku fans for 3 days.  I kind of hate Sherron for killing that kid and raping that girl, but for the most part my dislike for ku is about their students/alumni/fans and how generally shitty of people they are.  I don't care much about ku sports on its own, but it was rough ridin' hilarious getting to watch another collapse in person and specifically the toll it took on BMW, et al.  Their weekend/Christmas/month/year being ruined right in my face was awesome, and coupled with the subsequent BYU ass-kicking, was the perfect capper to watching bball all day man of taste and distinction.

Any time I respond to your guys' posts, you call it a "meltdown."  I've gotta admit, it's quite an effective defense mechanism.

man this loss really tore out BMW's soul.

For the few that actually stayed tuned from Tardville . . . imagine the joy they felt when BYU broke out to the 10-0, and then the white knuckled angst and anger to follow.

Ben, it's the now the response itself, it's what's in the response.   Now please go into Obi-Wan mode to bring it full circle.   Thanks and I'll be following along.

I thought we were past this BMW.  When are you going to accept the fact that we like you and your meltdowns?  We're ok with you, why can't you be?

Just curious, I'm kinda new here and am being completely serious....how many times have you deleted your account??  What exactly counts as a "meltdown" to you?

"meltdown" = "ksu has an inferiority complex"

Maybe "inferiority complex" is the wrong term?

:dunno:

I just don't see how you guys can deny that there's a different dynamic between KU fans and K-State fans.  When K-State lost to Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament in '07, KU fans gave Beasley a standing ovation.

ku reminds me of those annoying girls that always say "I'm fat", just hoping someone will tell them they aren't.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

You know what's gonna suck the most for Beems?

He doesn't have access to the "Top 16 teams in the nation" elite messageboard.  Totally missing out on the St. Mary's posters.  Those guys are brutally hilarious.

But hey, maybe there is a "semi-elite" messageboard for teams that finished 17-32?

KU Fans stuck around to watch KSU's game until BYU's 10 point lead evaporated.

Stats favor Beas.  If he wasn't the greatest you had seen why didn't you sit on your hands as he walked off the court and "act like you had been there before?"

KU fans gave him a standing ovation because he was a great player, and we're classy like that.  You might get there someday.
