Yeah Beems if say, in the same regional, you had Kansas and Missouri, and MU had a 1 seed, you can't possibly tell me that you wouldn't be celebrating your ass off if MU lost to a 9th-seeded Akron or Idaho or somebody like that. Every KU fan would.

You are turning into quite the turncoat brown-nosing pussy.  I wouldn't celebrate after a Mizzou loss... I might sit there and chuckle a little bit, but I wouldn't celebrate like KU had just won a national title.  Maybe you've been in Texas too long to realize that KU fans are different than K-State fans... there's an inferiority complex that comes into play with K-State fans.  Not sure if you've noticed, but KU has been kicking their ass for years now.

You'd celebrate.  And yes some KSU fans celebrated like them losing=us winning something, which is over the top.  But if we're stereotyping an entire fanbase here, you can go back and bitch about under-seeded teams, boo bad calls, bitch about anytime Kentucky gets mentioned for something (i.e. still being in the tourney), and complaining that the talking heads don't come out and admit your team is perfect.

You come on here and mock KSU losses, and you wouldn't celebrate a Mizzou loss?  You are ridiculously full of crap.

And its good to hear you bitching about us winning without class.  Key words in that: us winning

Love it when one teams fans accuse the other of being "classless".  Pathetic

This is your first Sweet Sixteen appearance since 1988.  I would tell you to act like you've been there before, but you haven't, so feel free to keep making yourself look like an idiot.

This isn't the first time ku has choked in the early rounds of the tournament. Matter of fact you should be used it by now, so... act like you've  been there before.   :dunno:

Just nailed it.  Dead center, One eye, dead center.
In order to "choke" you have to be highly seeded.  KU's consistent level of success sets them up for these type of games in the tournament.  One would think K-State would realize just how hard it is to win in the NCAA tournament, given that this is your first Sweet Sixteen since 1988, but no, you guys don't have the first clue on how to win with class.
it's quite obvious to any non-biased fan that ku consistently gets calls during the regular season that they don't get during the tournament. hence the appearance of a "choke". fans will no local affiliation tell me this all the time. those three kstate "wins" ending up hurting ku in the long run. ku players thought they'd get all the calls and when they didn't they went into panic mode. sad really.

You are just embarassing yourself now.  Illustrating why ku fans are the biggest babies/whiners/finger pointers and bandwagoners in the entire conference.  Congrats on winning THAT title for yet another season.   :bawl:

Ben,

Don't live a lie.  You know, I know, we all know, that the vast majority of ku fans want nothing but the worst for K-State and MU.    Tardville can all gather around in a thread and try and collectively explain how they would all cheer for K-State if they're not playing ku . . . but such a thing is applicable to about 2.7% of ku fandom . . . the rest either sit and absolutely seethe over any K-State or MU success, or have nothing but downright outwardly expressed disdain for any K-State or MU success.

I'm not denying that.  I just don't think KU fans would openly celebrate a K-State/Mizzou loss in the same fashion.  There's an inferiority complex factor with the rival fanbases of K-State and Mizzou.

Aren't you the guy who starts like five new posts every time KU beats K-State in football?  And remember when you started a thread calling us all faggots after KU won the national championship in 2008?  Quit being a hypocrite.

The "inferiority complex" talking is just an excuse for ku fans to cry and act like sore women when they lose.   :bawl:

In reality, neither mu or KSU feels inferior to the worst football program in the conf and a lengendary choke-riffic basketball team.

Pffffffffttttttttt...... now there's some serious denial.  The '08 49-4 combined in football and basketball is still killing you guys.  The fact that you couldn't beat KU once in three tries in your best basketball season since 1988 has got to hurt as well.

Actually, it doesn't hurt at all. You just want to believe it does. In the end, KSU proved they're the better team. KSU would've won 2 out of 3 if not for some bad (paid) reffing.

LOL.  You are crying this hard because your football team is now the worst in the conference and your basketball team is now known as the biggest chokers in tourney history.  You and I both know the KSU athletic program is leaving ku's in the dust.  Your desparation is stinking up this board.

But keep going with your talking points....it gets funnier each time.

There's something to this.  I screamed like a maniac for and against Old Dominon as they closed the gap against Baylor Saturday.  Wanted Baylor to win for conference pride and all that, but wanted an amazing game more.

Same for ODU-Notre Dame, Texas-Wake, etc. etc.  Hard not to cheer and whatnot in these situations.

You sort of conveniently ignored this.  Also, why is it the entire New Orleans Arena cheered when ku lost?  Could it have had something to do with it being a tremendous (and exciting) upset?  Nah, that would not play well with your carefully constructed alternate reality that K-State fans are all extremely mean and that ku fans all smell very nice.

Delusion.

KU fans can only hope to someday reach the pinnacle of one Sweet Sixteen appearance in 20+ years.
