Bottom line, if the voters didn't just keep "moving up" these crap teams when teams in front of them lose and actually ranked them where they thought they were, this wouldn't be an issue.

Whether Kirk sucks SEC taint or not...he is right.  NIU lost to 4-8 Iowa, and only beat the team who has the longest conference losing streak by a touchdown.  They have no business being in a BCS Bowl over OU, LSU, Georgia, USC, Oregon St, A&M, or Clemson.  Obviously when you factor in the 2 per conference rule we're only talking about OU and Clemson.

Agreed. I liked his rant, but then he delved into the "this is so unfair to the blue bloods," I started to tune him out.
These schools have the most resources, make the most money, have the greatest connections, etc. Cry me a rough ridin' river that they got left out by the rules of the horse and pony show they created.

That said, NIU is going to lose by 35.

SEC gets a bunch of cream puffs in their Bowl games to perpetuate the myth that they are soooo much better than everyone else....Florida-Louisville UGA-NUB Vanderbilt-NCST South Carolina-Michigan LSU-Clemson........One Big 12 matchup and no PAC matchups. They only take opponents from the weakest conferences. Bullshit.
