I have 6 tickets and only need 4 -- maybe only free. Will sell at face value in KC area.

What is face?

I have no idea yet. I ordered thru a big donor who had a large allotment. I don't know how this works yet. I think the Alumni Assoc. decides who gets seats where and I'm just out for whichever seats they decide I get. But will post when I know if I don't already have them sold. (Pretty sure I have a buyer already, tho.)

May be OT, but I hope Willy kicks the crap out of that Oregon duck.

Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Any news for tailgating? I live in Tucson and am driving up early Thursday to try and find some tailgating. I'm not really interested in going to the "Biggest Party" tailgate scheme that the Fiesta puts on. If I could get up there the day before, I would setup a tailgate myself but my wife works the day prior.

I got my Orange section parking ticket in the mail today. I'm all set now with game/parking tickets. Look's like I'll be at the "College Football's Biggest Party" as well before the game starts. Is anyone else parking in the Orange section? If so, maybe I can work out driving up the night before the game and setting up some tailgating in the Orange lot.

We have made zero plans with regards to tailgating, but you can bet that bubbles, manbearpig, dlew, scarysmart, and several others will be excessively pak'd somewhere near the stadium.

I figure that I might as well check it out while I'm there. I'm sure there will be more info on where everyone is parking when it gets closer though.

A party without coke is not a party, it's a small-timey get together.

Who said anything about Coke, this is an all Dr. Pepper party.  But yes, that would certainly be enjoyable.

Pro Tip-  The helmets don't matter; it's who's wearing them that counts.  :ksu:

Why do they wait so long to play the bowl games? I'm so disinterested now. They should play them the next week when people still care.

It seems like the bowl games are getting later and later every year. I don't remember having to late this long ever for a decent bowl game. It's nearly January and there has only been what like 3 bowl games?

Any suggestions on hotels in Vegas for the first leg of the Fiesta Bowl trip?  I was thinking of Circus Circus or the Excalibur.  We've got a guy in our group that is pretty in to magic and clowns.

Thanks in advance.  There is typically some good advice on here.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Stayed in a Terrace One Bedroom Suite at the Cosmopolitan last month. Will be difficult to stay anywhere else when in Vegas going forward. Very elite.
