I was looking at flight from both KC and Wichita to Phoenix...cheapest I found round trip was like $500+
I just used my american airline miles instead...roundtrip from Wichita to Phoenix for $10!

We're flying into Tuscon on the 31st, WAAAAY cheaper, we'll stay there for a day and then head up to Phoenix.  Flying out super early on the 4th, also way cheaper.

I'm not going to be flying the plane Phil Titola, I'm a passenger, so I don't think its a problem if I don't get a good night's sleep.

Pot starts out @ $17M...KSU pays for all expenses to travel & play in Fiesta Bowl out of that pot...the remainder is divided evenly amongst the 10 schools.

My car is in the shop. Thought about walking, then figured it would take too long. Don't want to ride a bus...the restrooms are usually hideous and the stench in the bus can be a problem...and they have no stewardesses. And I won't fly this time. 

Suggestions?

Hitchhike.. Only bring one debit/credit card, your ID, and a cell phone. Should be fun but I would try to bypass Albuquerque that place is pretty shady. Be leery of truckers they have a sleeper attached so there's no need for a back ally.
