Please tell me you all aren't talking about this guy:

You'll note that's a picture from his arrest. And the dude defended Paterno. And Missouri. I can't even imagine the amount of scrubbing it would take to wash that loser-y, meth stench off of him.

I don't think that's a wise choice by Missouri. They aren't in a position to hire a proven coach, and I think Pinkel has done enough to have a down year and not get fired for it.

Missouri has made a series of unwise choices under the leadership of Mike Alden.  Then again, I think this is about more than wins and losses.

Any chance Dimel gets stolen once this carousel starts spinning?  maybe he is only sexy to us.

Someone tried last year. Definitely possible. But hey, we aren't that great on the eye test so probably no one will want him.

Internet stuff, FWIW, makes it look like Pinkel wants out at Mizzou, for whatever reason...not that MU wants to get rid of him. He was pretty vocal about his opposition to leaving the B12 to go to the SEC.

makes it a bit more clear how great the internal battle was @ mizzou for leaving or staying.  Seems more and more like a 5/4 decision with the Governor having 2 votes (supposedly).

I think Gruden plays with fans who want him to take college jobs. IMHO, he never coaches again unless it's in the NFL.
