Also, who decides which polo the coaches wear each game?

Pittsburgh is just good enough to exploit our awful brand of help defense

Two for two on jumpers, nice hustle, and a great drive thwarted by an erroneous traveling call.

No nice way to put it...we aren't that great of a basketball team. Sub par defense and defensive rotation and absolutely average offense. Gonna be a long season gents, Big 12 play will show our mediocrity.

It's encouraging that almost all of our defensive problems are caused by mental breakdowns, but it's discouraging that there doesn't seem to be any improvement so far this year. Take Nino for example, he hasn't successfully closed out on a shooter in the corner during his college career. Really doesn't seem like it's going to change any time soon.

Pitt has 2 baskets on offensive Reb tip-ins, 2 transition hoops and converted the 3 pt play, then 3 of their 4 3pt have been on dribble drive kick outs for an open shot. Also got uncontested layup.  That's 9 of their 11FGs.

yeah the d is just still so bad. remember we were god at defending the 3 last season, or at least opposing teams didn't shoot them well? if that facet of our game was some sort of weird anomaly I will become embittered and negative

We are shooting 33% and have 8 TOs in 34-35 poss.   Ball movement poor and too much standing around

oscar was completely unprepared for traps off ball screens and doubles in the post. At least it looks that way.

the over/under success thing for this tournament was 1.5 games. win more and it's great. win less and it sucks. two losses in this bitch combined with the long beach loss sucks.
