Let's say K-State beats Texas, wins the Big 12, and beats some pud Big East squad in the Fiesta Bowl. Does Snyder retire? Are there any rumblings/grumblings within the elite, non-butthurt K-State 'cat fan circles?

I think the odds of him retiring reduced drastically after getting drubbed by Baylor.

Unlike the OP he has figured out retiring from what he is best at is no fun and he will not repeat the same mistake.

My old boss meets with Snyder for breakfast once a month. He is a co-worker from when he was at Iowa, I'll ask him in about a week.

I will say Snyder doesn't 'plan' out his future in some picturesque timeline like some of you think. He probably doesn't know himself.

Billy looked and sounded as sharp and as young as ever after the Baylor game. He isn't going anywhere fast. I think it will take something like a stroke to slow him down enough to step aside. And even then, he will sit up in the box like Paterno and tell Sean what plays to call.

Bill thinks he is K-State, and if he stood at a podium and told everyone this, everyone would have to agree. There are no facts to back up a counterpoint that he is not Kansas State University. Kansas State University will die when he does.

Are you kidding? He's been scheming how it's going to be since the first retirement. He's always been a better second half coach, he just needed to take a few years off to watch film and come back. Consider the Prince years to be halftime. Remember Ron's high step? Just think of that as the PPPPPRRRRRRRIIIIIIIDDDDDDEEEEEEE of wildcat land performing songs from the Star Wars Movies while we were drinking in the parking lot.
