Odds of Snyds retiring after this season are 1/10.
Considering how many "buyers" there are going to be in the market this year, I hope you're right.

Make a list of pros and cons sitting in his shoes and it isn't close.

Odd thought:

Bill's endorsement of Sean as head coach may actually make it more likely that Currie hires Dimel.  This may make his ego more open to an internal hire since he's going against Snyder's wishes

Really think Sean is bound for Idaho. Would Bill follow and be his offensive coordinator.

Was told by a source before the season this would be Bill's last year. The way things have played out leads me to believe he is right and this year is the perfect time for Wild Bill to ride off into the sunset.

Which on the list would Bill be qualified to talk about?

I just found out that Fresno fired Pat Hill last year.  Did he rape a bunch of kids or something?  I'm suprised he stayed there for so long.  Anyhoo, he's like an oline coach in the NFL now.  Wonder if he'll be looked at for any of the openings...

Joe Gordon was practically fired by Bill. Not sure if that makes him a very good source.

Source tells me Joe left because it was Bill's last year.

If Bil retires after this year, we should take his name off the stadium.  It would be the worse than the first time, like if he had done it after 2003.  Our roster is still crap overall. And there is way too much competition right now for better openings.

When would be the right time for him to leave?

It's the truth.  The waters wouldn't be calm at all.  Retire after next year and it's all good.
