I particularly enjoyed when we were down by four rough ridin' touchdowns at the start of the 4th and ran the longest drive possible.  ATTN: Bill, Dana and CK: you generally want to hurry up and snap the ball before the play clock gets down to single digits when you're trying to make up a 28-point deficit in the last quarter.

Yeah, I've never seen a 2 minute offense eat 8 minutes of clock in 1 drive before tonight. Getting no points out of it was the icing on the cake.

Let's face it, we weren't built to overcome any deficit like that

This team isn't winning another game without Zimmerman.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

It doesn't help when one of your homerun threats is gimping around and ultimately out of the game because you couldn't take a knee or put in the 2nd teamers the week before.

When you've got crap depth, why do you run meaningless plays when you're up by 3 TD's with 2 minutes on the clock with the 1st team in the game.

I started complaining about this against Tech. It was pretty ridiculous then, but no one got hurt.

Especially when you call options plays to run out the clock, when you never ran them earlier in the game when you should have to keep an over aggressive D somewhat honest.

I think zims missing is a convenient excuse.  We aren't winning if the OL continues to play like that.  UT will play action us to death, so hopefully whatever scrub is back there doesn't get beat to bad.   but if we can only score 24 against baylor we will lose regardless of zims not beimg there.

I felt like the fire wasn't there tonight- the team was trying but Baylor played out of their minds and ksu played.....bad, from the coaches on down.  I still cant believe ksu got beat down like this.

Why?  K-State has the thinest of margins.  They play like that, coach like that, and the other team is all fired up and playing out of their minds . . . not surprising at all.

I just remind myself we've got LHC Bill Snyder who is great, but absolutely goes into full pucker lock down the moment the spotlight gets to bright, and we don't recruit well enough to sustain when we've been schemed into being in great positions.   It takes depth and talent to win when it's this late in the season and injuries are mounting.

I appreciate them and all but I will never forgive Bill for keeping guys in with big leads only to get injured and ABANDONING THE RUN/THINKING CK SHOULD THROW DOWN THE FIELD ALL GAME AGAINST BAYLOR!!

Great season though. I hope we win in 2 weeks.  :ksu:

The worst moment of that drive was the start.  We lined up with 12 seconds left in the 3rd quarter with the clock running.  As the quarter ran out, Klein was trying to change the play.  When the refs blew his whistle, Klein looked up trying to figure out why there was a whistle.  He had no clue what was going on.

You take the good and the bad with LHC Bill Snyder.

First off, it's awesome that we even get to have this kind of disappointment.

But many of the things that help put K-State in these positions, are some of the things that create tightness, over thinking, and also exhaust football teams that don't have quality depth and super star talent outside of a couple of positions.   When you become everyone's super bowl, you need a deep well of awesome talent, otherwise you ultimately run of physical and mental gas.  Just my opinion.

But we've got a chance to win a conference title, and play in a BCS bowl.  The 2 weeks off probably comes at a great time, I hope Snyder gives these kids some well deserved rest.

For being a freshman Barnett actually didn't play that bad. Yeah he got beat, but he was also matched up against Terrance Williams.

Bill is god to fans, he is the man, will be happy with 9 or 10 wins
natty titles hard to come by

Where was this Ferguson dude who is supposed to back up Zim. Missing Zimm is a crappy excuse, IMHO.

The LHC LHC Bill Snyder conundrum:  he emphasizes consistency but when things like this happen he gets all inconsistent.  What gives?

that's a great point.

The double reverse to start a drive was weird, too.

Double reverse call was absolute garbage. That's when I knew we were screwed.
