Well, I don't remember Purdue being the #1 offense in college football, either. That seems more important than having 1 or 2 good players on a team.

I think it had everything to do with with the national championship looming. They read SI. They listened to the radio. Watched TV. The mental mistakes and dumb plays looked like they weren't prepared. They thought that they were above Baylor. The absolute worst thing that could happen is that they were in the drivers seat to the national championship game.
