They would be so much fun to BBS with.

If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.

This guy needs to be dick slapped....

Well, something does not seem right and I don't care how good of a coach Snyder is.  The last 4 years of recruiting has been dismal for KSU and no amount of player development can turn the players recruited into the #1 team in the nation.

2009    #92 class rank
2010    #63 class rank
2011    #68 class rank
2012    #58 class rank

Schools like Toledo have better recruitment rankings than KSU so either these JUCO transfers do create a loophole and make a world of difference, unless one takes the position that Snyder is a better coach than Vince Lombardi or the whole team is on steroids.

Well, be can rule out Snyder being the best football coach that ever lived. That leaves the other two scenarios.  I doubt KSU is cheating and I don't think it fair to insinuate such without proof.  Therefore, the only logical conclusion comes from CVGR - JUCO transfers are older, stronger and more mature, thus giving them an advantage.

If it's not cheating then it should be.

Oh man.....

Quote
In the last 2 days I have asked multiple NCAA FB players, 1 a runner up for Heisman, another a NC QB, fans and others the following:

What do you think of a school in the title hunt that has 30+ JUCOs?  The responses ranged from: "that's bullsh**." to "that's ridiculous."  One added that the NCAA should cap a teams limit to between 5-10.  Not once did anyone say there's no advantage.  When I  was asked which team was doing this each person was surprised by the response.

If we both get the nod, this will be exhausting and demanding.  Like, take time off work demanding.

It'll probably take more effort than actually beating them on the field.

Snyder must be the best coach that ever lived.  Truth is, you cannot squeeze water from a stone, so "coaching up" 2 star players to the level they are at now is not a feasible explanation.  Snyder is a good coach but he is not that good and is not the 2nd coming of Christ.

I don't know where they get 30+, if you don't include D1 transfers, I only count 26 JUCOs that I could identify by the institution name.    And many of those are scrubs.

It's obvious how KSU turned this around so quickly.  It's not cheating, but I think it goes against the spirit of college football.  You can't disagree with that.

goEMAW troling point #1: Notre Dame employs the use of juco transfers way too prevalently.

along the same lines....

troling point #2: notre dame is a private school so they get to decide who gets in and who doesn't so it's much easier for athletes to get into notre dame than it is for them to get into kansas state because we are public and have to follow certain laws. we can't just let kids in because they are good at football.
