it's funny how some people look at their health.

if you keep drinking +1 gallon of milk a day, your annual health care exhibit (wtf?) at work won't stay at 99/100.

and by then the damage will be done.
Gramps drank 4 gallons a week for as long as I knew him and he lived to be 85.  I would be fine with that.

Clams doesn't know jack about milk consumption.  He's just talking out of his clam hole.  Eveyone I know that drinks an excessive amount of milk has been very healthy and robust, myself included.

I think he was referring to the whole milk part of it.  That seems like a lot of fat to be ingesting in one day.  Whole milk is for babies only btw.  Adults should be going with 2% or less.

A little suggestion- Swap over to organic milk.  It's super creamy so you can drink the 2 or even 1% and it tastes like you're drinking whole milk.   :drink:  <----  But with milk!

I think Diet Dr. Pepper tastes just like regular Dr. Pepper; but some people don't seem to agree with me.
I hate all other diet drinks.

Mrs. Gooch, thoughts on Dr. Pepper 10?

Their ads are pretty sexist.  :curse:

This is not the case. I appreciate an active imagination, but that doesn't mean I'll allow nonsense to be posted as fact.

I use to be a Pepsi guy, but recently I've switched more to coke, I think my taste buds are maturing or something. Also can any of you tell the difference in taste from different fountains? Chipotle pop always tastes great, but some gas stations just suck.

Chipotle, subway, and bk have the worst fountain drinks in the world.

I do pound down a little over a gallon of whole milk a day though.

bullshit

that's really not good for you.

q: do you know how much sugar is in milk?  a:  a lot.
I'm on Team Clams here. Milk really isn't nearly as good for us as we've been led to believe.

As far as soft drinks go... I used to drink Dr. Pepper exclusively but now soda usually just tastes too sugary for me. I like ginger ale.
It even mixes better with whiskey than coke does.

milk is high in saturated fat and sugar (lactose), both of which should be moderated in a diet.  they turn into carbs/calories/fat in your body.

i love milk but i limit my intake.

there's really no nutritional reason for anyone past a kid's age to be drinking excess amounts of it.

Good.

It is impossible for me to gain weight so I am pounding down as many calories/carbs as I can.

Up 32 pounds this year alone.

Although it was done with more than just an increase in calories/carbs.

Clams, what's your view on protein shakes? I've got a doctor/science buddy of mine that says they're completely worthless.

most people get more protein than they need through their regular diet and don't need to supplement it with a shake but they can be good as a meal replacement/snack before working out, or for vegetarians who don't get enough protein in their diet.

Even though its been 1.5 years since my last soda, I was a huge Dr. Pepper fan at the time. HOWEVER, Diet Dr. Pepper is the most revolting beverage on the planet.

Mr. Bread doesn't like beer

It tastes bad and if I drink enough of it to get drunk, it makes me really sick the next day.  Meaning substantially more sick than an equivalent liquor drunk.  Plus you have to drink so much more volume than if you just drink vodka and water.  There is literally no positive side of it for me.  I pretty much stopped drinking it after high school.  So in your face AJ.  In it.

P.S. I'm doing good this afternoon.  You?

Also, lotta folks who were nerdy weaklings as kids and didn't turn out super hot stud muffins from drinking milk like the commercials said they would being outed here.  Ts an Ps on milk not being enough to overcome your bad genes.  I turned out just like my milk mirror reflection said I would.  Plus I bet if we went bone to bone (no mommy), I'd have the best ones in here.  Maybe like punched fists or something to test bone strength.
