Squirrels
« on: November 08, 2012, 07:12:54 PM »
Are there still a bunch of them on K-State campus? I remember they were a redish color. They were everywhere.

Also, a squirrel ate a giant chunk out of the pumpkin outside my mansion a few weeks ago. My dog saw it and barked like crazy, lol.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

yup, sometimes i'll feel like an old man and just drink beers and watch squirrels run around and do squirrel stuff in the backyard.

also, do the squirrels and crows still fight outside the strong complex-y area every friday morning?  always seemed like armageddon as i walked by there (possibly alcohol related)

One time I went to visit my grandparents and for the first 15 minutes I was there they told me about all the different squirrels in their yard. They could identify which one was which, what habits they had, what funny things they had done recently, etc. For fifteen minutes. A fifteen minute rundown. On squirrels.

my friend once had a 1 eyed squirrel that lived around his patio.  he looked like a total rough ridin' badass with a huge scar over where the other eye should be.  also scars all over the rest of his body.

In new mexico there are the typical small, brown squirrels, then there are big fat gray squirrels.  Are the big fat gray ones still squirrels?

Do any of you have friends that you secretly suspect are squirrels? I know with 99% certainty that parrot14 is in fact a squirrel.

For the record, they are lazy as eff but walk around and act like total bosses.  They don't blink twice when they get buzzed by hummingbirds.  Don't get me started on those ruby throated whores.

get to spend a lot of quality time watching squirrels in the woods this time of year.  fascinating little creatures.  they never just chill out.

I know a guy who captured a squirrel and kept it in a cage in his dorm room (wasn't a K-State student).  It lost all its fur and then died.

Just goes to show...you can't take a squirrel olut of its element. What would have happened to the student if the squirrel captured him and put him in a tree?

if the squirrel gave the student food, water and shelter the student would be fine.  same goes for the squirrel that the student starved to death.

There was a story told about a mythical pledge (never activated) that once grabbed a squirrel off a tree on campus.  He held it in his hand the squirrel went nuts and bit him a whole bunch till he let go.  Was bleeding pretty bad.
