I'm considering throwing away all my white socks and buying like 14 pairs of identical white socks so I never have to fold them. Just throw them in a drawer and grab two when you need them.

My dark socks are tougher because I have brown and black and very elite wool socks.

I don't fold socks but I do tuck them into each other.  (?)  Anyhoo, I have like 4 different types of white socks and like 3 different types of black (no shows) and it pisses me off having to find matches but  also hte having to par them up after washing them.  So, in short, you havea great idea.

ETHICS QUESTION:

So the stores only sell 3 packs of dress socks with 3 different pairs of socks. I would rather have 6 identical socks so it's easier to find matching pairs when necessary. Is it ethical to switch out socks between 3 packs so I end up with a 3 pack of matching socks?
