Yep, but they aren't going to call out their own lack of integrity and fact checking. Hope Fox Sports, Rivals, CBS Sports and NBC Sports all take the time to rip the World Wide Leader over this.

True, but ESPN harped on that story more than most. I really hope they don't try to paint Te'o and Notre Dame as victims in all of this. Notre Dame should be absolutely torched by all media outlets for keeping quiet when they found out Te'o's girlfriend wasn't real on December 26th. They let reporters run with that sob story up to the title game.

I can get why Notre Dame wouldn't say anything because they don't want distractions leading up to that game, but if that was the case they should have come clean within a day or two after they lost to Alabama. Looks like they were just going to sweep it under the rug and hope nobody found out.
