Why is this guy even in the Heisman discussion??? He isn't anything special or done anything special.

Stats before tonight:

Total tackles: 69...good for 23rd in the nation. The national leader has 102.
Interceptions: 4.....tied for 6th. National leader has 7
Sacks: ZERO (has one tonight). National leader has 9.5
Passes broken up/defended: tied for 56th with 3/7. National leader has 13/15.
Forced fumbles: tied for 49th with 2 . National leader has 4
Fumble recoveries: tied for 17th with 2. National leader has 3.

He doesn't lead the nation in ANYTHING!!!!! What the eff???? Seriously, he's a dime a dozen linebacker. I don't get it. He's the Tyler Hansbrough for football. He tries really hard and plays for a national "power". That's it.

Heard him on Rome. Great/terrible story, sounds like a really good kid. Give him some sort of most inspiring award or something and I'm totally cool with that. Him even being mentioned for the Heisman is a joke. (Also heard Bama's qb is making a push. Also a rough ridin' joke.)

rough ridin' ridiculous for McCarron (Bama's QB) to be in the Heisman conversation. There isn't one game in his career that Alabama won but they would have lost had his backup been playing instead of him. Being important to your team's success ought to be a requirement for Heisman consideration.
