Shut up with the "they allowed TCU to score 53!" talking point. Points in OT should not count.
They still gave up 36 in regulation. Plus they blew a 10 point lead in the 4th.
TCU did everything they could to lose this game and still had a chance to win it.
Threw 2 picks. (Tech had 0 TOs)
Gave up an onside kick.
Drove inside the Tech 30 four times and settled for FGs.
TCU ran for 184 yards and threw for 332 while outgaining Tech by 127 yards. Plus TCU had 111 return yards compared to 26 for Tech.
I will give Tech credit because they found a way to win, similar to what we did last year multiple times.
However, K-State does not seem like the type of team to lose these types of games. TCU showed that you can exploit Tech's defense, and with a RS FR QB at that. I simply don't see K-State making the high number of mistakes that TCU made to lose this game. I just don't see this Wildcat team doing that. So while I respect Tech and know tha they are a solid team, I do not fear them and I will say with confidence that K-State should win this game by 10-14 points.
