goEMAW should hire a lip reader to translate 'The Bill' from the video during the game broadcasts. I'd bet there are some interesting tidbits. It might make the premium cost a bit more cost effective.

How does he seem so calm during games? Even in the dod

I've always thought that I've seen him dropping some eff bombs after bad plays/calls. Have never confirmed because you can't hear it and the camera never stays on him long enough or has a bad angle.

Profanity, when used appropriately, is extremely effective.

LHC Bill Snyder is a master of profanity.  He is a cursing ninja.

The Snyder moment where I wish I knew what he was saying was during the 2010 KU game when Stephen Harrison returned a 80-something yard fumble for a TD.  Before that play we had too many d-lineman on the field, one was running off, and we probably should have got flagged for too many men on the field.  Snyder turned to Mo and ripped his ass with a finger pointing up in his face.  I really, really wish I knew what he was yelling at Mo.

Didn't he say something like "If we had lost the game because we were tired, I would've hung myself" after Miami last year?  And that was to the media.  I bet he says lots of "I'm going to blow my head off with a shotgun" type stuff.

Also, did he ever threaten to burn anyone's house down?

yes this was great. as he was pointing the finger you could vividly see the words "NO, you listen to ME!" come out of his mouth.

Heard from a team manager from 98-03 that at half time of the Iowa State game when we were down 28-7, he just walked in the locker room and said nothing. The entire locker room sat silent for 15 minutes. Then, right before they took the field, he said "don't disapoint me".

Kinda contradicts the yelling, cursing, throwing stuff stories though...

Seems to me that when they show him on the sidelines he is saying something but his lips aren't moving, like he practices ventriloquism with a Pinocchio dummy...probably does it with the team for shits and giggles

Different tactics for different times. I can see how getting super pissed in that situation wouldn't be productive.

FWIW, the silence would be more scary.

I'm sure the cursing is all part of the grand scheme

My roomate was a walk on during 09 when snyder came back and told me that during the first meeting with the team a couple of guys including Banks were snickering and talking in the back. He said Snyder stopped what he was doing and just stared at them for a second. Like gave them the frank stare and then said " I'm only interested people that actually want to be here, If you don't care to pay attention there's the rough ridin' door. If your not going to put in the time now I dont want you, and you can rough ridin' leave."
Said everybody's jaw dropped, cause they all thought the same sweet old man trick he puts on the media.

Oh, you Snyds!
