Couldn't he play immediately if his coach like died or something - and playing there left too many painful memories or some crap?  Not that it matters with DT in th backfield.

Well, if he was a highschool kid coming in for his freshman season he could play right away.  Or if he transfered a year ago.  Or if he had been playing for three seasons and it was going to be his senior year at the same school.   Really any number of scenarios that aren't the reality of the situation.

Another scenario where he could play this season is if this season was opposite season.  He could play this season but have to sit out the rest of his career. Also, our defense would be amazing.

But our offense, and Bryce along with it, would suck.

He could play immediately if he were to graduate at Tennessee early and enroll in grad school at K-State ala Grant Gregory. He's still enrolled at UT, so :crossfingers:

Yeah, he was originally rumored to also be transferring.  But, he's at OU, so there's the transfer within the conference rule that would get in the way....unless we go to the Mt. West asap (mods, add this to the list of reasons we should go to the Mt. West already).

Well, is it just A source, or are you grading the source as an A-?   Hopefully the latter.

Doesn't the NCAA allow Bryce as a transfer the option to "bring a friend?"  Anyone know who that might be?

I'm just looking into the future thinking about the day when this is confirmed. How crazy will you all go? I'll be going nuts and will be thinking about the D.O.D. and other amazing past memories. We know the kid is not going to be a bust, athletic as shazbot! and built like a brick shithouse. :runaway:

that's about the time I discussed Jayden Bird with Bob Stoops and he rubbed it in my face that he could have any KC kid he wanted.  i told him  :nono: but we both knew he was right.  he and Bobby Jack Wright got a couple of good  when i told him to leave Kansas City kids alone.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Bird wanted to come back and play for the Cats.  He most likely would have been a Cat if it wasnt for Ronny's high degree of retardedness.  BUT, I would be surprised if he went through all the trouble that an intraconference transfer entails...  Could he just go to Butler or another juco for one year, graduate, and then transfer to KSU?  Is that even a possibilty?

It's been a done deal for months and pretty much everyone has known it.  I would only have strong feelings if he didn't come to KSU.

I feel pretty confidant about BB in purple, but I am still keeping it reserved until it's official.  I really can't take many more football related heartbreaks.

SD has it right. All the events between him and Arthur have taken place so they can come home and play on the same team. I'm expecting Bryce. I will kill people if he commits somewhere else.

Happen to know people close to Jaydan. No talk of transferring. Seems happy at OU.

A guy would have to be pretty damn unhappy somewhere to want to transfer.  I can see a Harper or Smith, being a pretty sizable way from home.  I can't imagine someone being so homesick or whatever in Norman to want to practice for 2 years and never see playing time.  Hopefully Bird sucks some serious ass and never hurts the Cats in a game.
