On the way to work this morning, I was at the stop light at Iowa and 19th, and saw a gal running to try to catch a bus. However, the bus caught the green light and continued on its merry way. I saw the gal was very distraught by missing the bus. So, when I turned on 19th, I flagged her down and asked if she needed a ride to campus. She said she needed to get on THAT bus, because it was going to Juco (she had overslept). I told her to hop in and we would catch up to the bus. She was so relieved and appreciative! It is amazing what a few minutes can do to change a person's day! So glad I was in the right place at the right time to help her out!! =)
