Yet they pay a crap ton more personal income taxes.  Very weird.

Did you know there's a 200% tax on new vehicles in Denmark?  200%!

I wouldn't own a car if I lived in Denmark, even if the tax was 0%.

So if I bought a $20k new car in Denmark it would cost me $40k in taxes on top of the $20k car?

Yeah, Scandinavians are emissions Nazis. They have excellent mass transit, though, so there really isn't a good reason to own a car unless you really like driving.

Freedom is a good reason to own one.  Trains stop at midnight.  Actually the whole rough ridin' country shuts down once it gets dark (major metros aside).  Very odd.

This is true but believe it or not a car or a truck has much more utility than a bike.  My company is HQ'ed in a small town in Jutland and 90+% of the people there own cars, multiple cars across a family.  There are a few hipsters that take the train to/live in Aarhus, but not many.  You also have to consider that the weather is crap for most of the year.

I could see how small town life in Denmark would probably suck. I would probably take the train to/live in Aarhus in that situation.

Like they're not a very warm people.  Not to say they aren't friendly.  But they don't go out to eat very often, and like I said once the sun goes down they're in their homes with their families.  When we go there we spend most evenings on our own, whereas when they come here we take them out almost every night and generally make sure they have a good time.

So I had to do the helicopter with more passion and energy than ever before. Now she is mad at me cause the wind dried out her contacts.. I swear women are never happy.

I was 6, my brother was 4. My parents thought we were in bed as they partied away in the bar in the finished basement. My dad's friend needed to use the bathroom upstairs, seeing the downstairs one was occupied. As we spied from the stairs, a large, tall black man with a fro came up the stairs. We ran, screaming into our bedrooms. First time seeing a black guy. LOL!!

I have five free tickets to the Big 12 Tournament games tonight at Sprint Center if anyone wants to go. It's West Virginia v. Tech and TCU v. Texas. Let me know. Thanks

No comments and this guy is really popular with like 1500 friends.  The session of shame is so awful.

Any KSU fan want to purchase tickets for Thursday's game Session 3? I bought them at $137, would be willing to sell them at $100 for 2 ticktes. They are lower level, section 113 row 28, they are very good seats! Much cheaper than stub-hub

Ben Ji- Possibly. $100 for 2 tickets?

Gonzalo- Sorry I meant $100 per, so $200

Ben Ji- I'll take both for $100

Gonzalo- $150?

Ben ji- What kind of Hustle is this? We are going to Crush our rival Texas on Thursday so I'm only interested in going if the price is right. $105?

Gonzalo- Haha that makes this $150 well spent! It is way cheaper than Stub Hub for this section
16 hours ago · Like

Ben ji If your tickets were way cheaper 28 minutes ago when the price was $100 each and the current price on stubhub is $100.95(http://www.stubhub.com/big-12-tournament-tickets/2013-big-12-basketball-tournament-3-14-2013-4204171/?ticket_id=489930497) then I should just wait another couple of hours and they will be free.... $107 for both.

Gonzalo- Haha nah I'm sticking to $150

Why is it that there is always an excuse for why ksu loses to ku besides the fact that ku played the better game? When we lose to ku in football you don't hear excuses, when we lost to tcu you didn't hear complaining. We flat out got beat that day. Suck it up and move on...RANT OVER. Thank you. RCJH!!

KU fans might be the easiest to troll, ever.

They become very indignant if they feel someone is not adequately acknowledging their importance.

Definitely. My KU buddy hates Scott Drew about as much as North Korean in a gulag hates Kim Jong Un because he didn't respect the Championship montage appropriately.

was there a facebook/pinterest mom meme for marshmallow and toothpick sculptures lately? Because I saw at least three moms in the last week that posted pics of their kids making them and boasting about how creative they were.
