I would imagine that they are just replacing the ice with snow, and the final product just contains, milk, cream, vanilla, and sugar.

Maybe I'm wrong, though.

Pretty much, IIRC. I have one of the fifty people who posted about it yesterday included a recipe and that pretty much covers it.
