I think my favorite is how she openly talks about how she is still in love with her exbf/baby daddy while engaged to another man. This will end well.

I assumed that she was no longer engaged when she said she was a week sober from men.

This.

Also, I kind want to be friends with her so I can receive daily updates.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I was unaware of the fact that that laway still exists, but then I saw a bunch of people post stupid stories on facebook about people "paying off" others layaways. How the hell does it even work? Do you just take something off the shelf and tell them to "put it on layaway?" Why not just buy it later? I'm not sure this is the proper venue for a question like this, but does anyone have experience with laying something away?

-actual question from Saulbadguy, not a facebook post, but somewhat facebook related.

I've never put anything on layaway but I think it works like this.  You make a down payment and the store will set aside the item for you. They give you a certain amount of time to pay it off. When it's paid off, you can take it home. If you don't pay it off, I'm not sure but I think they give you most of your money back. Maybe they keep it all. I don't know.

Some words to the wise. Shooting Advice from various Concealed Carry Instructors. If you own a gun, you will appreciate this. If not, you should get one and learn how to use it:

A: Guns have only two enemies - rust and politicians.

B: It's always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

C: Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.

D: Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arms length.

E: Never say "I've got a gun." If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.

F: The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes, the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.

G: The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win - cheat if necessary.

H: Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets . . . You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to beat you to death with it, cause it'll be empty.
I: If you're in a gun fight:
1. If you're not shooting, you should be loading.
2. If you're not loading, you should be movin,
3. If you're not movin', you're dead.

J: In a life and death situation, do something . . . It may be wrong, but do something!

K: If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?
L: You can say 'stop' or 'alto' or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much a universal language.

M: Forget the save the planet nonsense, it doesn't need saving, but you may be able to save yourself and your family.

If you believe in the 2nd Amendment, please forward.

I think it's a pretty brilliant way of getting poor people to pay for something they can't afford at almost no risk to the store. First, you convince some poor sap that this toy is going to be sold out by Christmas, but if they want to start paying for it today, you will keep it off the shelf for them. Then you receive payments and when the toy is fully paid for, you give them their toy.

Emo EMAW's mom used to do layaway all the time back in the day.  Which now I find kinda weird because it's not like we were broke, paid for a BMW in cash.  I think it's a generational thing.

I mean maybe I could see why somebody who was scared their kids would find their presents before Christmas might put something on layaway so they wouldn't have to find a good hiding spot. I don't think that is why it usually gets used, though.

This. My mom used to put stuff on layaway all the time at K-Mart. We were poor though.  Her parents used to put stuff on layaway all the time too, but they weren't poor.  They weren't big on credit.

I think it's also used by people who just can't save money for a big purchase. They want to spend it as fast as they get it.

Oh man. She is gonna pelican brief herself.

Gems:

-Friends, there is a gift that God has given me:  I can smell something fishy a mile away.  Like Benghazi.

-These reporters are complete prostitutes

-  I looked at my husband and said,  “Cal, this thing is starting to stink."

- The news reports were full of such ambiguous NON statements that I was furiously looking throughout the internet to find solid evidence

-The reporters are not grilling the one and only witness we know of- this little boy.

-Friends.  I believe there is evidence of more than one shooter.  I believe this was a PLANNED event- specifically to get the UN Small Arms Treaty signed

-believe our GOVERNMENT shot those kids and teachers and used Adam Lanza and his family to pull it off
