It's so weird that they think that Lawrence is such a modern metro destination & Manhattan is some barren wheat field.  I mean there is a guy with "DodgeCity" in his screen name using Silo Tech and talking about how much Manhattan is a dump.  Seriously, how is it possible to be so delusional and self-hating at the same time?  Do they not realize they live in the same Kansas as we do?  Do they not hear the Case IH and Cargill sponsorships KU has during their football games?

Maybe they're right.  They have Free State Brewery.  It's like, the most wonderful place on Earth and stuff.

The beer there is pretty gross.

Free state is disgusting beer.  I ate there once and wasn't impressed with the food.  Wasn't horrendous but wasn't worth going back for

Free State is better than Tallgrass IMO.  I'm not going to hide the fact that the majority of Tallgrass bear is average at best.

I like Free State beer better than Tall Grass, but I think Tall Grass is horrible.  I'm not a fan of wheat beer.

  I used to work at one of those dealerships a few years ago.  Lowrents townies are crap, no way around it.  The ag community in Douglas county is the exact same as it is here in Reno and Sedgwick.  The townies have a strangle hold on the school and unfortunately that's the image the university wants to project to the outside world.
