Mostly resignation and grudging respect. I think when they call us "Grape" it's adorable.

And I hate to sound all KU-basketball snob fan ("this KSU game is soooo sloppy and ugly to watch") but they really have a lot of cluefuck football fans over there. One of them called Arkansas an "average crap team" last year. But to their credit they have enough people over to call their own out on it.

You're not missing much. Prob best to go read Shaggybevo or Baylorfans instead.

It's so weird that they think that Lawrence is such a modern metro destination & Manhattan is some barren wheat field. I mean there is a guy with "DodgeCity" in his screen name using Silo Tech and talking about how much Manhattan is a dump. Seriously, how is it possible to be so delusional and self-hating at the same time? Do they not realize they live in the same Kansas as we do? Do they not hear the Case IH and Cargill sponsorships KU has during their football games?

This is what I think of every time I see them Wave the Wheat. They hate wheat. They hate farms. They hate everything west of Topeka and even then they're quite suspicious of east of Topeka that's not on K18. The self loathing is strange to observe.

In one of their threads they referred to Lawrence as "an extended KC suburb"
