For the young adult crowd, the data shows car accidents as the leading cause of death. There's clearly a lot of drug overdoses in the 25-45.9 y.o. crowd, though. And fentanyl overdoses are definitely a primary driver of those deaths.

However, there is a tried and true way to prevent these deaths. "Just Say No."

The things I appreciate about #blueanongE on this topic is 1.  How hard you fight the reality. 2.  The fact that you think it’s funny. 

You can dial through the semantics all you want, but unintentional deaths via synthetic opioids of which in  90% of the cases its fentanyl . . . Is one of, and arguably now the leading cause of death in that age group.

It’s truly sad to read all the nuanced fact checking that #blueanon fact checkers attempt to do on this topic.  Instead of just accepting the reality of this tragedy and accepting the fact that an unsecured border fuels this national tragedy.

#blueanon absolutely melted down about it, which is super weird considering that #blueanon political leaders (mostly very very old white people) were fully onboard the semi tough talk of "you just can't jump over a river" of the previous administration who was sorta kinda tough on the border, at least at various times when political opportunities arose.  That administration of course wasn't all that keen on actually securing the border and making it tougher on the cartels . . . in fact that walked automatic weapons to the cartels, and then in typical #blueanon fashion tried to blame it all on everybody else besides themselves and shipped one West Winger off to some far flung outpost to avoid congressional testimony.
