Weird Al is great.  Down with the haters.
When? You mean in the 90's, right?

I didn't realize Weird Al was still around. I just assumed he hung up the mic after crafting Amish Paradise.

In the 90's and now.  His goal is to make people smile.  What is not great about that?

Fixed.
My apologies.  I didn't see his comment and sort of took my time to formulate mine.

But yeah, everyone is a home grown weird al these days.

Stonestreet and Weird Al hung out at a Royals game about a month ago. Probably best buds now.

Weird Al's "Word Crimes" released today was pretty good and I think a lot of posters on this site would enjoy it.

You can hate on Weird Al all you want but his act is basically the same as it ever was, we're just older now. And you have to tip your cap to a dude who has managed to stay relevant (in his genre, at least) and extremely profitable on the music scene for over three decades. I mean, that staying power is unreal, even if he has cycled through a few generations of fanbases.

but yeah handy is pretty bad
