I would have voted for Hillary, just like I voted for her husband

 :sdeek:

Hey Dax is lying again!  Hillary is indisputably more liberal than Obama.  Is it the half black thing?

Hillary is not liberal when it comes to foreign policy, in terms of being a war monger she's in lock step with Obama and Romney.   Her domestic agenda while Liberal is vastly more palatable to what we're going to get from Barry.

also, judging by the car thread, i'm not surprised that goEMAW is pro-democrat.  this board is riddled with poors (short for poor people)

You guys really do like Obama don't you?  Seems odd to me.

the country has spoken, 4 more years.

I'm aware.  No fan of Romney here.  Just surprised how many people value fairness (he can't make things fair) over freedom and are ok with massive deficits and big government.  Obama promised peace in 2008 and my friend has gone to war twice.  He has a fight first foreign policy and is no friend of civil liberties and has kept the drug war roaring.

I'm just perplexed by it all.  I'm not entirely sure what values/policies/achievements of the president make him so appealing.

Obama was quite clear that he was getting out of Iraq and was going to focus on Afghanistan.  The military is voluntary, certainly your buddy knows this.

True statements.  My friend has chosen his course in life.  The things I give credit to the president about are his approach in Iraq and the killing of Bin Laden.  My post was more pointing out that he is portrayed as a person of peace, and his actions as Commander in Chief would seem to discredit that.  I think the president deserves more criticism for what is going on with the drone strikes than he is receiving.

For the record I think Romney's foreign policy would've been much more destructive globally.

explain?  Frankly Obama is not nearly liberal enough for me, I'll take what I can get until Hillary in '16.

Chris christie is going to be tough if he can get out of the crazy people primaries.

His mouth & health will get him in a lot of trouble.  And frankly I don't think he'll pull a McCain & Romney and move right of center just to garner votes.

No, he won't, which is why he may never make it out of the primaries. If he can though, it will be the best general election candidate they have put out in a while.

The problem with being a phony and having four home states is that you don't really connect anywhere.  Also worth noting that while he always touts his time as governor, he was very unpopular in Massachusetts and would have lost if he attempted reelection.  His lieutenant governor lost the election by 20 percent.

As long as there's a true conservative Congress, she'll be just like her husband.   If not, then yes, it could be really scary.   But IMO less scary than what this guy's agenda is, I really do believe that on some levels this guy really doesn't like this country.

last time a ticket lost the home states of both their pres/vp candidates was McGovern/Shriver in '72.

Yes you're right, the one casualty in Iraq this year is clearly indicative that we're fighting a war there.  We have troops in Germany, Kuwait, Korea, and Japan amongst other countries; are we fighting wars in these places too?

Well gee MIR, there are still troops in Iraq, the State Department is built their own private little army.  Back in August and Sept. the U.S. SENT (more) troops back to Iraq because of the Obama/Hillary proxy war in Syria.
