Seems odd to me. the country has spoken, 4 more years.I'm aware. No fan of Romney here. Just surprised how many people value fairness (he can't make things fair) over freedom and are ok with massive deficits and big government. Obama promised peace in 2008 and my friend has gone to war twice. He has a fight first foreign policy and is no friend of civil liberties and has kept the drug war roaring. I'm just perplexed by it all. I'm not entirely sure what values/policies/achievements of the president make him so appealing. Obama was quite clear that he was getting out of Iraq and was going to focus on Afghanistan. The military is voluntary, certainly your buddy knows this.

Frankly Obama is not nearly liberal enough for me, I'll take what I can get until Hillary in '16.Chris christie is going to be tough if he can get out of the crazy people primaries. His mouth & health will get him in a lot of trouble. And frankly I don't think he'll pull a McCain & Romney and move right of center just to garner votes.

If not, then yes, it could be really scary. But IMO less scary than what this guy's agenda is, I really do believe that on some levels this guy really doesn't like this country.
Yeah so the answer is that there isn't a war in Iraq. Thanks, move on.
