in the end, EMAW will always win.
I have a 50" LG plasma. Love it.

I have a 46" Toshiba DLP in my basement that works perfectly fine with a Toshiba stand if someone in the Omaha area wants to buy it for like $200. You have to come get it yourself.
My dad has a 52" JVC rear-projection. Love the loudness of the unit, love the 720p picture, love the three-minute startup time, love the 6800 lb weight of the tv itself. Just a great TV.
Did you reset the timer on the replaced bulb?
Quote from: sonofdaxjones on September 17, 2012, 02:36:38 PMDid you reset the timer on the replaced bulb? This sounds promising. All I did was take the old one out and jam the new one in. The new one came in its own housing or case or whatever so I didn't mess with the bulb per se at all. How do I reset the timer?Stopped by Best Buy at lunch, the much-discussed non-3D Sony looked like absolute crap there, so much that I don't think the display one could possibly be working right. I'll hit the other one tomorrow to confirm.

I thought it's popping up because it's somehow knowing that particular lamp is almost mumped. Like, the message popped up and within a week, lamp was dead. I didn't think those things could have that precise of a lifespan.
Did you reset the timer on the replaced bulb?I have a Samsung 50 inch DLP . . . now with the dreaded processor problems. Love the DLP picture, more cinema like, not as harsh as LCD. Only one company I can see even still makes DLP. Mitsubishi.
