Lost 2 points to Oregon in the Harris over last week

http://www.harrisinteractive.com/vault/BCS_Nov_04_2012.pdf

Huge! I don't think the computers will give Oregon as big of a boost as people are thinking and with us staying close with Oregon in the Human polls I just don't see Oregon jumping us. Maybe if USC beats ND but I have to wonder how much that will help. ND's value as a firewall team may go away a little the next few weeks. Also Louisville will start showing up high in the computers as well of Georgia.

I don't think the human polls can do enough "fixing" with out it looking obvious to affect Oregon jumping to #2.

man if we could've won by like 20-30 points yesterday (if klein doesn't go out, basically), we probably would've gained in the human polls

Agreed...the humans were not impressed from their "big win"....and they would have to get 2, 3, 3, 3 in computers to jump us...Pac12 garbage won't allow those computers to do that. (assuming human votes stay the same and our computers stay the same)

If #life plays next week, and we are sloppy, how much does that hurt our computers?  Do they stop loving us?  :ohno:

UT plays ISU at home, has a bye week, plays TCU at home, then the CTR. What if they take advantage of that bye week bye starting to put in schemes for K-State? Then, with their Super Bowl a week away, they lose to TCU and drop a ton in the BCS? I will never forgive them. I will single handedly get Mack Brown fired.

I really don't think it would matter at this point. It will be hard for us to move much without someone losing.

I think we're going to know Nov 25th if we control our destiny. That will be the week ND plays USC, Oregon plays OSU and we are idle. It will basically be the only week when Oregon can jump us because they won't do it when we play Texas on the first and they play the CCG. If OSU loses the next two and Oregon has a close game against them and Stanford then I don't think they jump us. If OSU wins the next two and Oregon blows them out then they will probably jump us with us being idle.  So basically we know in 20 days if we go to the MNC.

We gain some of what we lost back this week when we play TCU and they play bottom feeder Cal.

Oregon will lose some computer support next week playing a piss poor Cal. ND will as well but should still stay ahead of Oregon in the computers. P.S. Georgia is now a Firewall them and LSU still is as well.

So after Oregon won their super bowl and was "validated", Palm projects our lead over Oregon to shrink by 13.8%.

Oregons opponents need to keep losing. It'd be great if USC looked bad their next time out.
