This is very good for us.   

yeah but a lot of the big 12 teams in the top 25 still have to play each other and/or us and they already have 2 losses, so the likelihood is that a lot of them will finish out of the top 25

sure, but when we play OSU they will be the 5th team we've played that were ranked before we destroyed them

yeah and texas could be number 6.  has any team ever beaten 6 ranked teams in 1 season?  my word.

Last week we were 105 points ahead of ND, now we're 59 

Last week we were 77 behind Oregon, now 25 (Florida moving out of the way likely dramatically helped that)

ND now plays a string of three consecutive complete dogshit teams. they also end their season on the 24th (against probably a 3 loss USC team) while we get to parade in front of the voters against Texas to end the season. they are meaningless to us at this point.

11/03/12   vs. Pittsburgh, who is 4-4
11/10/12   at Boston College, who is 2-6 currently, and likely 2-7 when they play
11/17/12   vs. Wake Forest, who is 4-4 now, and likely 5-5 when they play
11/24/12   at USC, who is 6-2 now, but may be as bad as 7-4 when they play

so, it's kind of a three horse race, and I think ND vs. KSU vs. Oregon is far more beneficial to us than KSU vs. Oregon. ND may split off a lot of voters from Oregon (sexy chasers) and let us inch ahead with our steady, hard working midwestern voters sticking with us. Think about it.

I don't think Palm "reversed". He still thinks we will be 2 in this weeks BCS, with Oregon at 4. This link is his projected bowls. He just thinks Oregon is going to catch us by the end of the year.
