I kinda wish that we wouldn't go up at all in the rankings... I don't want us to let our guard down for ISU.  I want  the team to be hungry and feel like they still have to prove themselves.

Heck, it might be good if we move down.

You could be right...  I've just thought LSU was over rated since the beginning of the year.  I honestly think your assessment on SEC love could be spot on. But then again - ND hasn't jumped us yet... so we're already getting some pretty serious love that no one here can ignore.

Because LSU looked like dog crap (just like they have all year) - as did Florida.  Turn-overs & a win off a couple of untouched rushing touchdowns.    A blowout of KU seems more impressive.

Have you watched LSU play or looked at who they've beaten?  I could accept an argument that "It's SEC!!!"   but jumping all over "They were #3!!!" and being bad person-ish about it doesn't suit you.   I liked you a lot better when you're weren't a douche bag.

You might have LSU as being overrated, but the fact is the voters have them as the third best team in the nation. They think pretty highly of them. So those same voters who had LSU as the third best team in the nation are probably going to think Florida had a big time win and give them a big bounce.

Yeah, LSU hasn't looked impressive, but still, it's the SEC and people love the SEC because it's the SEC.  Stupid? Yeah, but Florida is going to get credit for beating the #3 team in the country.

ND (probably) isn't going to jump us because their only wins are against middle of the road Big 10 teams and middle of the road (sorry miami) ACC teams.  Voters aren't going to really buy into ND until they beat Stanford at home and OU on the road. 

Because if ND beats OU on the road, only ACC bottom dwellers and USC stand between them and the NC game.

Florida's a good team - but I think the best they can do is jump ND.   I'm basically pinning all of this as everyone having some serious love for us; ND love > than SEC Love... I don't think ND did enough to pass us..

keep in mind CK has some serious Tebow like karma surrounding him.   We're not so much america's team as CK is America's QB.
