my wife bought this and his twin at a chinese grocery store around one year ago. it's just been sitting in our cabinet staring me in the face for the last 12 months. i don't know what it is and whether or not it is still edible. should i try to eat this stuff? what do i do w/ it? is it still good or could it kill me if consumed?

think i remember hearing that yam noodles will keep for no more than 12 months. if your "around one year ago" assessment is on the short end you will be eating fermented(poisonous) yam noodles. better consult your calendar, rd.

if i do eat, how? just open the package and pull them out of the water and eat them? fry them? microwave the package? warm or cold? spices? eff me.
