I may have Forrest Gump'd my list a little . . . or a lot.

I really don't have a Top 5, but here's a list of good shows I've seen.

-A local band in Dallas called Pop Poppins at Club DaDa in Deep Ellum in 1992.

-Depeche Mode at Sandstone in 1994.   So so fan of DM, but they handed out stacks of free tickets around town and a bunch of friends and I went and had fun with it.

-U2 Zoo TV Tour Arrowhead 1992.   Was on the 4th Row and Auchtung Baby is my favorite U2 Album.   Bjork opened.

-The Black Keys in NOLA this past spring.  It was a free concert for the Final Four Concert series.

-Grateful Dead Sandstone 1991.

-The Eurythmics at Starlight.

5:  Anthrax / Metal Church  About 1990 @ Cotillion.  Drinking Jager and Wild Turkey while thrash pioneers played their asses off!

4:  Belphegor / Hate / Keep Of Kalessin 2011 @ Oz Cafe.  Sadomasochism, Blackened Death Metal and corpse paint (DUH).

3:  Chris LeDoux 1996 @ Cheyenne Frontier Days.  Crazy show followed by partying with the band afterwards at the Cowboy South.

2:  KISS 1996 @ Kemper Arena.  Reunion tour, completely blew the roof of that worthless dump.

1:  Metallica / WASP / Armored Saint February 17th 1985 @ Cotillion. Front row watching Metallica redefine the term heavy metal, not knowing they would become pussies a few short years later.

2. U2 - Arrowhead - 1992 / Zoo TV Tour

i went to that concert too, it was good, but i didn't think it was great.  the joshua tree tour at kemper a few years previous was a lot better for me.  i don't think i had fully adapted to the change they made yet going from conscientious objectors (joshua tree) to crazy rock stars singing The Fly (achtung baby).  for some reason i remember it being really cold that night?  dunno.  too long ago.

Concert I wish I had seen:

Pearl Jam - Day on the Hill / Lawrence 1992

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

October 18th, 1992 - yeah it was pretty chilly.  The first real stadium show I had seen, so it made a pretty big impression.  Mysterious Ways and One were amazing.  Pride.  That stage set still to this blows me away to this day.  The Sugarcubes with Bjork opened.

Saw the POP tour at Arrowhead in like 98 and thought it was horrible.

1.  Pre-Christmas Trip to the Bay Area in 1969 allowed us to go catch the Stones.   Great show.
2.  The Band in 1976.   The whole family was visiting my Dad's aunt again outside San Francisco for Thanksgiving, we popped into the city for the show the night of Thanksgiving.
3.  Another pre-Christmas Concert in 1979.   Visiting wife's relatives in Ohio and we drove into Cincinnati to see The Who.
4.  Summer Trip to Berlin in 1991, we caught Roger Waters.
5. 1964 The Beatles in Kansas City.  Thanks Charlie O!!

This was great bbsing, the one that should have tipped me off was the show that turned into The Last Waltz.  If you'd really been there, you probably would have mention Dylan, Neil Young, etc.

Was there.  Prob would make 6-10 on my list.  Good vibes.  Some youtube footage of vedder swinging from the light truss on his mic chord out there i think.  Let's Go Bowling was also a pleasant surprise

In no particular order...

Kiss - back in the 80's, when the original 4 still had make-up. Parents took us. Awesome.
Van Halen - 1984 tour, DLR was drunk but good
Reba McIntyre - Stage show was amazing
Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet tour
Def Leppard - Hysteria
Journey - Frontiers tour. Stage show was second to none for the era
Rolling Stones - Outside in Cessna Stadium

Yeah, I'm a 80's generation survivor.

-Grateful Dead Sandstone 1991

Were you there the first or second night? I was at the second night on June 25th. My upstairs neighbors just happened to have an extra ticket, but none for the 24th. Great show though.

Thanks Dobber ... my musical interests are varied to say the least.

Honorable mention should go to Lynyrd Skynyrd and a Hendrix cover band I saw in NOLA in 1990 (Electric Ladyland was their name I think), 4 Jamaican looking cats taking requests in a little dump on Bourbon Street!  Also Earth, Wind and Fire are worth the ticket price still today.

Not sure if this is in any particular order:

Ween @ Liberty (and a couple of times in Columbia, MO)

Radiohead @ Redrocks for Kid A (also Cleveland, OH)

Dandy Warhols @ Belly Up in Aspen, CO

Beastie Boys @ Fillmore Auditorium in Denver for what they  called a gala event prior to two days at Red Rocks

REM @ Sandstone on Monster Tour

Chemical Brothers @ Uptown (late 90's?)

Sigur Ros @ Liberty Hall (early 2000's?)

The Band in 76 had to have been pretty fantastic.

Phish tonight at Starlight.

Had orchestra seats but couldn't go.

Question a bump that provided no answer but I will contribute:

1- oscar Springsteen - Sprint Center, 2008 - wasn't even a Springsteen fan, the guy is simply the best.
2 - Wilco - New Hampshire Street, Lawrence, KS - first Wilco live show, been in love ever since.
3 - Arcade Fire - Grant Park, Chicago, Lollapalooza - first performance of The Suburbs ever. Incredible. 5 rows from the front. Pissed in a Gatorade bottle to keep my spot.
4 - Avett Brothers - Red Rocks Amphitheater - by far the best venue I've ever been to. Watching the Wiggles would be worth it here. Portugal The Man opened. Saw them here a year later and John Prine opened  :Wha:
5 - Flaming Lips - Wakarusa - Lawrence, KS (before the festival moved away) - I was 18 and have never been around so many naked people in my life. First mushroom trip. Incredible showmanship. Covered "Song Remains The Same" by Led Zeppelin

1. Ryan Bingham - The Mishawaka Amphitheater
2. Gorillaz - ACL
3. Can I just say multiple Red Rocks shows?
4. Gryffin - Coachella
5. James McMurtry - Bluebird
