can i win a lawsuit where there's a contract saying the other party doesn't have to pay me anything if they do something, but i want them to anyways?  like for some reason the contract wouldn't apply because the other party didn't act in good faith and/or comply with reasonable requests or something?

the amount of money is fairly insignificant, but i'm a vengeful person and would like to be a pain in the ass, if i can.  the contract also says that the losing party has to pay the winning party's legal expenses, in the event legal action though.

The vengeance?

hypothetical and in the future.  also fraught with impediments.  the need for vengeance is current.

At this point, I'm gonna need everyone to speculate on what sys is talking about.  I bet a landlord confiscated his snake.

it's the house i agreed to buy, and the bank that owns it, that is rough ridin' me.  i want to cancel the contract because i don't like them rough ridin' me.  the contract agrees that i can cancel the contract, but not that the bank would have to reimburse me the house buying expenses i've incurred so far.

if a legal remedy isn't in the cards, i guess i can just throw a brick through their window or something.

Yes, this , but with a snake or snakes.  Laugh maniacally too.

If you do the viper thing, I can help with countries to hide in. But only (and this is nonnegotiable) if you peel out.

the viper idea is stupid.  why not just draw them a map of where i'll be hiding and shoot that in too?  if were to shoot any animal in, i'd use something clever, like a raccoon or a miniature horse.

Well, that's your field of rough ridin' expertise.

1.  Buying crappy foreclosures is risky
2.  What possible expenses could you have incurred outside of a cheap inspection, which is for your protection?

The contract will specifically and unequivocally spell out what is to be done with that.

I assume he wants some type of "well, I took half of Monday off of work to inspect and then I had to go check some stuff and blahblahblah, my time was worth $2000 so I need that."
