It was a good moment. And then Walt made them feel better. Great stuff.

Jesse standing up to Walt and telling him to do it himself was pretty great. Last shot of Jesse driving away screaming in joy was the best thing to eve happen to me (don't tell Mrs. Stevesie60).

The ending sucked because Walt redeemed himself.  It could have been great if, instead of everyone saying "great ending," everyone was saying, "OMFG EWWW!"

the ending would have sucked if it happened any differently.  he had to redeem himself.

I would have preferred more ambiguity as to whether Walt died or not.  Like, when the cops came into the lab, he was gone.

I would have preferred Walt doing something semi-believable to off the nazis, like maybe using his knowledge of chemistry to pack a big-ass nitrogen bomb in the trunk of his car. Of course, that still leaves the question of why the nazis didn't check the trunk of Walt's car, but oh well, it's just a TV show...

he bought the rotating gun kit, didnt he? it showed it all set up and packed and stuff. also he had all day to set it up and test it, they showed that. hes not some brilliant mechanical engineer, hes just a smart dude who can rig up a device. he rigged a bomb to kill gus, is he some brilliant explosives guy? no. hes just smart.

the gun sprayed the whole room pretty quickly and then came back around a few times. even walt didnt have time to get out of the way and he knew it was coming.

the ending was rough ridin' awesome. walt was happy and the music was perfect.

I also thought, if Walt knew he wasn't getting out of there, why wouldn't he just pack the trunk with explosives... though that m60 can fire about 10 rounds per second, the odds that every single (competent) person in the room would get hit by it have to be lower than the odds of a building leveling explosion.

Other than that (and including that, practicality be damned, the trunt turret kicks ass) I loved everything about the ending.

Maybe he still hoped to get out alive.

I loved Walt finally admitting to Skylar that he did this all for himself. Also seeing Jesse take Todd out like that was so gratifying.

Excellent finale. Badger and Skinny Pete's appearance was perfect and unforced. Great plan to get back at the Schwarz's without killing them. Happy Jesse lived, and glad he got to kill Todd after the Andrea thing.

Did he? he went into that building thinking that Jesse was still in the business as a partner, making him culpable with the Nazis (plus he'd already ordered a hit on him)   I don't think until he saw his scarred face and shackles that he decided to save him.  Vince Gilligan said as much of Walt's motives in Talking Bad, afterwards.

i think he lets jesse go either way. he was there to kill the nazis, not kill jesse. he had an opportunity to say no to the nazis when they asked if they could have jesse instead of kill him and he told them that was cool. if he wanted jesse dead, he would have killed him right then and there. he wanted to save him the whole time.

Jesse deserved to kill Walt.  Once Walt was shot, it was better he didn't.

I don't think he wanted to save Jesse.  Giving him to the Nazis, when they say they are going to kill him after a couple cooks, is not a kindness to Jesse.  Why on earth would he tell Jesse he watched his GF die if he feels any kindness towards him at that point?

Talking Bad after the finale was a great way to end the show.

What will I do now with Sunday evening? I'm not sure Walking Dead will keep my interest for another season. What should I be recording to watch?

Yeah, that scene with Badger and SP, where Walt learns Jesse is still cooking and Walt's product is still on the street.  Walt was pissed.  I don't think, at that point in time, saving Jesse was part of the plan.

I think he changed his mind after he saw Jesse and he had his car keys in hand.

I just saw the gun in the trunk. I didn't realize Walt ordered up a special car trunk-mounted rotating gun turret, but if he did, then that dude from Deadwood can get anything. Impressive. Still think a big bomb in the trunk would have been more "realistic."

I think he converted a garage door opener into the gun rotater
