the end of that episode was more infuriating than even the magnet.  Which is saying something.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hank get out of this, but with the call to his wife, I think it is his time.

Odds that Gomey makes it out?  1%? Too high?

It's 0% for both Hank and Gomez.

Realistically, with all the rifles they had aimed on those guys, they shouldn't have taken 2 steps... Missing at that range with a hand gun is reasonable (at 50 feet and on the move, Hank really shouldn't be wasting the ammo) and gomez could really even be hitting people, but getting peppered a little isn't going to take anyone out for long... but a sighted rifle at that distance in the hands of someone who knows the trigger from a hole in the ground really really can't miss.  Both those guys should be dead to rights... you just don't miss a single shot, let alone several shots at that range.

Seemed a little unbelievable, but weren't they wearing bulletproof vests? I mean that would only make it slightly less believable, but whatevs. Also maybe one of them did get hit already and just didn't show it? :dunno:

I thought that too. I think he did.

Did anybody watch Talking Bad last night? I oddly love that show, even though it's kinda dumb. "Hey let's let BB superfan Julie Bowen talk about the show for a while. Hey, Flynn's here! You guys wanna hear Marie talk about the show? Wanna hear from Gomie? I hosted Singled Out and EVERYBODY GETS A JESSE FATHEAD!!!"

I watch it every week.

I listened to the podcast a few times but it was so self-congratulatory I couldn't take it any more.

Stevesie. I was watching Talking Bad and there was some little factoid about how they arrived at the name Ehrmantraut (or however the hell it's spelled). A German combo of two names. What was it? Don't feel like Googling right now.

don't recall the words skinbens (some combination of strength or honor or truth or something?)

i don't follow the behind-the-scenes stuff, but i was most surprised how they said mike was basically a quickly-invented character because saul wasn't available for filming.  he was a really, really great television character on a really, really great show IMO

Yeah that part was great. I also loved the part where the whole crew wore black armbands to mourn the loss of Mike on the day of shooting that was Mike's "day of shooting."

I can't imagine Jessie rescuing Walt.  At this point, I don't believe anybody in the DEA knows about Walt except for Hank and Gomie.  And Jessie.  Assuming both Walt and Gomie are killed and Jessie is back on Walt's side, I don't know who Walt would be running from.

So, either Hank or Gomie survive the ordeal or Jessie survives as active state's witness.  If they all die, Walt wins and the show is over.

Last scene will be Walt sipping a mojito with Jack and Vincent on the Lost island.

You're forgetting the meth crew. Hank and Gomie are as good as dead. Todd is going to be killed, too. They need a cook. They've got 2 to choose from. Walt is going to save Jessie's life by offering him as the cook. The flash forward is Walt going to rescue Jessie by wiping out the meth crew.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Right on.  theory makes sense.  and, since Walt knows where the money is, he has the leverage to make them spare Jessie as their cook.  I mean, otherwise, they could just kill jessie and force Walt to cook.

That's the part of my theory I haven't figured out yet. What is Walt's leverage at this point such that he convinces the crew to let him go and take Jessie as the cook? I guess the money might be part of it somehow.
