jesse's okay. he was just sooooo stupid in the beginning. and people don't forget.

Yes. I think I like 'smart' more than I like 'good', and first impressions go a long way.

Yeah. Total dumbass in the beginning. And dressed like a complete pud. emawblast is right that people don't forget.

Also, you bought your parents' nice house for half of what it was worth. Stop letting junkies spray paint all over the walls. I mean my god, have some respect for yourself, smh.

Killing Gale made me very sad. I was right there with Jesse when he was tearing up. I didn't want him to do it.

But Jesse is still very much a murderer and basically was a complete dipshit for the first 23 years or so of his life

Don't give me this heart of gold bullshit. He was a drug synthesiser, pusher, and user long before Walter White came back into his life. He might not have been heartless, but he was no angel. He had plenty of opportunities to get out when things were escalating, but never did.

So sorry your pal Jesse (who manufactures and supplies a horrible drug that ruins lives) feels some regret.

Oh man, remember when Jesse thought he was hot stuff because he manufactured Chili P?

Sure, but after you told me 2 weeks ago that you would kill a 5 year old girl if it meant that you would live, it's hard for me to see how you're mad at Jesse for killing a grown man because it meant that he and Walt would live. And you guys are the ones who can excuse Walt for manufacturing and supplying a horrible drug that ruins lives, but not Jesse, 'cuz he'z a dumm'. He's an emotional person, and he's made a lot of emotional decisions that weren't the right call. Most guys his age do. But you have no sympathy for him for his girlfriend dying (right in front of Walt, who could have prevented it), who's family disowned him because of his little brother's joint, who Walt constantly takes advantage of and gives nothing in return?

Watch this and tell me which part is inaccurate. It's definitely not all Walt's fault like he is saying, but Walt continually treats Jesse like crap, and for some reason that gets overlooked. Also, Jesse is a lost kid who has absolutely no support system. You and I and every one of our friends has good friends and/or good parents who we could turn to. Jesse has none of that. His best role model is Walt, who poisons little kids and doesn't get shaken about the fact that they have to shoot a kid to protect their secrecy.

I guess it makes sense. Walt is a very logical person, and goEMAW.com is full of a lot of logical people. I, for one, am a very emotional person (actually, just in the goEMAW world. I lean heavily on the logical side in the real world). But because of this, I will always side with Jesse. That and because I tend to understand the mind of a troubled 20-something year old far more than that of a 51 year old father going through a mid-life (or possibly end-of-life) crisis. For the same reason I can admit that Hank is a better person than Jesse, but I can't relate with Hank. I do love his character, but no one, in this TV series or any other, will compare to Jesse for me.

Hey guy. We all like the show. It's okay if we don't love your favorite character. Buds?

I want both Walt and Jesse to suffer horrible bloody deaths. I also want Skylar to spend some time in the slammer.

The writers have really tried to make Jesse into a pity party since his girlfriend died. Let's not forget who was the one who got his girlfriend, who was well on her way to being sober for good, back onto drugs.

Neither Jesse or Walt are good people, but Jesse definitely is the lesser of the two evils. I think something in the final season will make Walt do something way out of character and make him express emotion, like something bad happening to Holly or Flynn.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

DNW, but there is not a doubt that Jesse is a "better" person than Walt, but that doesn't make him a good guy.  I guess I don't watch shows about meth dealer kingpins to root for the good guy.  If Hank is about to catch Walt, I'd rather Walt shoot him in his fat, sweaty face in front of Marie, Skylar, Flynn and Holly than actually get caught.  So there.

It's okay that Jesse is your favorite character and that you root for him, but I'm not sure everyone that loves the show needs to.

Sure, but after you told me 2 weeks ago that you would kill a 5 year old girl if it meant that you would live

Fairly certain this didn't happen :dubious: but if the 5 year old was being kind of a bitch, I'd consider it.

You and williewest drunkenly gave me some scenario where if there was a magic bean that you had to have in order to live, and asked me in what scenarios I would take it. I gave some, and you said you'd take it in every situation, no matter what. I said "even if the other person was a 5 year old girl?" and you said, "absolutely".

Is it Skyler or Skylar? I'm getting annoyed at people spelling it differently.
