For the most part I'm almost always giddy fanning, but my string of bad luck lately has me apprehensive. I'm trying to get out of a funk. I'm not use to this. I workout, which helps, but I need suggestions. The off season/ wreck/work/ family health is the worst. Advice...

fanning, maybe volunteer somewhere if you have free time? it will save you money because you would otherwise be drinking or something and you will feel good about yourself.

give someone random you work with a nice compliment about something. it will make you feel as good as it does them.

don't watch a movie/tv show, that's just letting your brain do nothing and won't help you long term like getting blasted and listening to GNR will.

list your goals split between career, personal life, fitness, etc. next list your timeframe for accomplishing each goal. then list ways you are going to accomplish each goal. immediately start doing whatever the most accessible activity on your list is. if all are about the same start with the most difficult first.

Fanning, did you get that Hummer* we talked about? When I'm super depressed I just go to Hertz and rent an H3 for the day. Then I Yahoo! Map all of the highways near me to find which ones have a decent traffic density and I drive really fast, like 100+ mph down those highways and run people off the road until I realize that my day can't possibly be as shitty as theirs.

*Could also be slang for fellatio, which would also cheer me up
