Just got this email from my Grandma.  First of all I wasn't aware she had my work email address but oh well.  I swear this is exactly how the subject line appeared:

FW: Fw: Fwd: The Governor has no clothes, while taxpayers lose their shirts.

The body of the email is from some place called the Kansas Values Institue and has random sentences here and there bolded     :D    Thanks Grandma!!!

Are you kidding? Just grin and bear it like I do when my old man mails me printouts of Brownback memes.

Yeah. It literally takes no time or effort to not read your dad's chain letters.

Consider yourself lucky that your mom even knows what an HBO is.

Received this gem from my father-in-law on July 4th:

Happy 4th of July!! May we always remember why this holiday is celebrated. As we remember, let's not be afraid to reestablish this reason. We are awfully close to needing to revolt and may the Lord protect us when it happens. Have A Nice Day!!!!

Also, is this one of those, "If you see something, say something" kind of deals? I'm worried that he may be a terrorist. This isn't something that people just say. I don't think. Maybe it is and I'm just naive.

My parents are preppers so every few weeks I get a text telling me to fill up my tank so I'll be able to make it home when the world ends the next day

Can you please start your own thread and describe these people in detail?

I spent Y2k on my grandparents farm with my dad and brother "Just in case", mom and sister said nope, not gonna do it and stayed in KC. Thinking back on it if my dad really did believe the world was going to end he probably should of insisted they come along.

Man, and what about 2012? Whew, can't believe the mayans messed that one up.

What about the super volcano under yellowstone?!?! If that ever pops my dad tells me to meet him on the Grandparents farm....even though the jetstream would carry the ash right on top of western ks.
