minus a couple of trim choke out victims and benji's ex, i'd have to say that everyone that's ever pak'd with other gEers are pretty much glad they did.

I walked by and said hi to The King because I couldn't tell who else was there from afar (the non 17 year olds at least) and then felt like a real dick when Trim yelled "HEY GET THE eff BACK HERE MEISTER!"

I was embarassed. Apologies to all.

I was looking for fanning/KK/Trim or whoever had the pak head this last week, but I never saw it.   Was pretty disappointing.  :sadpeek:

Which one of you DU's is wearing the @DS4MS shirt in CE assembly.

Didn't see this until now. That would have been parrot14 but I'm a civil too.

CE assembly is sooooo blah.

You guys go to CE assembly.

i need 2 more  :ohno:

No you don't.

Yeah, funny story... I skipped every assembly from sophomore to senior year because I had to grade tests on Thursday nights. I graduate this semester and to make up 24 missed assemblies (at least 24 hours spent in the classroom) I have to take a 1 hour pass/fail ethics class. The class involves writing 3 papers, and I did 2 of them today in about an hour.

Sparknotes: Don't go to assembly unless you have to.

We'll have to meet up, seven.

the first couple i thought were interesting cause i'm a traffic dork, but this ethics and environmental crap can gtfoomf.

*edit*
the only thing i'm worried about is "failing" the class because i'm a reinstatement student from failing out 12 years ago my first semester, so i have probation stipulations for this semester.  i have all a's, and then that class.  i don't know how it would effect anything, if at all.  if it wasn't for that i wouldn't sweat it.

the best part was when _FAN walked up and fanning was all  and trim was all "it's _FAN you dumbass" and then fanning was all  :surprised: :shy:

Yes, very enjoyable.

This was the very first thing I heard when I came back from the scrimmage, it was awesome.  Sad I missed the dudes that came by when I went to the scrimmage.

Also props to Metalhead he just saw the flag and walked up, good stuff.  Take that as a lesson to those of you posting on here 10 times a day but still afraid to  with bros & sis'.

That wasn't me.
That was me. I was sure you were a Hellhammer or a Bloodfart sock based on name only.

Wow, I was that PAK'd that early in the morning? Gooch was manning the grill when I stopped by, right?

Good time to tell all of you about Gooch.

On Saturday morning Gooch picked up BB$%@*%@?+Kat at his house, then picked up Trim and I.  He proceeded to drive to Manhattan, then he grilled the two dozen or so Brats that he purchased, shared the beer that he purchased (eff there were a lot of cops, I expect the lots on Ft. Riley day this weekend to have the police presence of Baghdad), cleaned up the tailgate, gave BB)"+@&@%Kat his wife's ticket to the game, drove to Scheme Pak, drank water at Scheme Pak While the rest of us  :drink:, and then took us home.

WHAT A STUD!  Although I still think Mrs. Gooch is a better poster, her husband killed it for the Ta' Pakr's.  Thanks bro.

+1, MiR. Everybody was really cool. I mean, I didn't expect to get told "eff off," but I wasn't sure. I will definitely stop by in the future if I see the flag, katpak head or happen to recognize anybody.

Also, wow. That Gooch, what a swell guy.

I agree with j-dub's assessment of fanning.

And always good to talk basketball/football with MIR with a fresh scrimmage report.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone from the boards, even someone with like 6 seeming irrelevant posts get treated with anything less than respect at a 'pak.  We're a surprisingly welcoming bunch.

50% chance I end up at the game solo this Saturday (no kiddos).  Will the flag be flying high and proud again?

lol. Thanks, Fanning.

Change it to Swayze if you like. I don't see the resemblance, but one of the bartenders at BombBar called me Patrick Swayze one night, because of the hair, and it seems to have stuck.

Correct them and say "It's actually James Dalton, but everybody just calls me Dalton."  Maybe do a throat rip to confirm your ID or be seen around town with Kelly Lynch.

Bread, when are you coming to pak?

Don't know.  I think I'm like 8 1/2 hours from MHK.  I've never been to Kansas.

Neither had Gus Johnson before last Saturday. From what I've heard, he loved it. Take it from Gus, Bread, come to Manhattan!

You in Illinois?  You and Dlew should carpool for our Big 12 Title and BCS Championship Game sendoff aka The Chisholm Trail Rivalry aka the EMAW U vs. UT game.

 :driving:
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

The other black guy's name is Charles Davis, and it was definitely Gus who said he had never been to Manhattan.
