Had a dream that Metalhead "played a prank" on me by killing my dog. Woke up and couldn't find him anywhere, was getting pretty concerned. But then I found him and pet him for a really long time.

there's layers to the joke, but yea, like most serial killers, Dexter's first kills were smaller animals, including his neighbor's dog.
